Pippa is off and running.

Black Caviar's half sister or as she is now known to all owners, clients and freinds of BC3 as 'Pippa' started her breaking in last Tuesday with flying colours at Connewarre.

The daughter of Redoute's Choice is enjoying her start to becoming a racehorse and we will keep every one informed of her progress over the coming weeks.

BC3 enjoy success at Echuca.

The BC3 racing colours where in the winners stall once again this afternoon when the talented galloper Songspur took out the seventh race on the programme at Echuca.

The son of Flying Spur trained by the in form Leon Corstens was far too strong for his rivals in the Benchmark 72 1200m event.

Songspur has always shown a good amount of ability as he was sent out favourite at his first race appearance in the Listed Blue Diamond Preview at Caulfield as a two year old.

Songspur has now raced 17 times for 5 wins, 1 second and 1 third.

Leon Corstens was delighted with the win and has informed BC3 that the horse has pulled up in fine order and he will now look for a mid week race at Sandown in the coming weeks.

Congratulations to all the owners of Songspur and let's hope he can find the winners stall once again in the very near future.

Sanagas and Val Champ arrive in Australia.

BC3's international cup raiders, Sanagas and Val Champ have arrived safely into Sydney.

Both horses arrived on Friday where they will spend the next two weeks at Eastern Creek.

BC3's own John Brocklebank accompanied both horses and has reported to us that both horses are in great shape and have traveled extremely well.

After completing their two weeks at Eastern Creek, Sanagas will head to Saintly Lodge in Melbourne to be trained under the care of "Cups King" Bart Cummings while Val Champ will head to Markdel on the Mornington Peninsula to be trained by Anthony Freedman.

We look forward to both horses have a highly successful spring carnival ahead.

BC3 Thoroughbreds purchase a piece of racing history.

BC3 Thoroughbreds at the Australian Easter Yearling Sales in Newmarket Sydney have secured the half sister to the world champion sprinter in Black Caviar.

Lot 200 saw the bay filly by Redoute's Choice from Helsinge enter the sales ring with a packed house in attendance and what can only be described as electrifying saw BC3 secure the filly for a cool $2.6million.

The filly started at an opening bid of $1million and from $2million onwards saw a bidding war between BC3's CEO Bill Vlahos and Japan's multi-million dollar buyer in Mr Yoshida.

In conjunction with leading Flemington trainer Danny O'Brien, the half sister to Black Caviar was knocked down to BC3 and will now head to their private training centre at Connewarre on the Bellarine Peninsula for the "BC3 Programme".

The fillies residual value alone comes without question and has only been enhanced since the half brother, All Too Hard has hit the racetrack in recent months.

All Too Hard has started on three occasions, winning all, one at Listed level and two at Group Two level.

CEO Bill Vlahos is absolutely thrilled with his purchased and looks forward to the filly arriving safely to her new home in the coming days.

Au Contraire wins at Hawkesbury.

Talented filly Au Contraire made it two wins from three starts at Hawkesbury this afternoon.

The daughter of Beautiful Crown was far too strong for her rivals in the fifth event of the afternoon winning the Class Two 1000m event.

Ridden in fantastic style by Chris Reith, Au Contraire sat just off the speed and came home with a well timed run to score victory at her first run back from a spell.

Trainer Gerald Ryan was thrilled with the victory and has informed BC3 Thoroughbreds that Au Contraire will now head to the metropolitan area for her next start.

Congratulations to all the owners of Au Contraire and we look forward to the filly being back in the winners stall very shortly.

Valedictorian wins at Moonee Valley.

A well deserved to win to the highly consistent Valedictorian at Moonee Valley on Friday night.

The son of Lohnro had run second at his past four outings (all on metro. tracks) and was as game as ever when claimed victory in the 0-89 Handicap.

Ridden perfectly by Craig Williams Valedictorian took his prizemoney to the $100,000 level and with any sort of luck in the future I'm sure Valedictorian will be back in the winners circle very shortly.

Road To Summer back in the winners stall.

At his third start back from a spell, Road To Summer scored a convincing win this afternoon at Wyong.

After having no luck at his first up run at Canterbury, Road To Summer bounced right back into form today under the guidance of top jockey Corey Brown.

Winning trainer Gerald Ryan was very pleased with the victory as Road To Summer had to carry top weight of 59kg and was far too strong for his rivals.

Ryan is now looking at taking the son of Danroad to Canberra on March 11 for the Canberra Guineas to be run over 1400m.

Road To Summer has always shown a great deal of promise and it was good to see him back in the winners stall.

This Magic Millions Colt’s A Scene Stealer

BC3 Thoroughbreds leaves no sale unturned when it comes to purchasing quality racehorses for its clients, and yesterday we added to our exciting 2012 yearling draft with a lovely Bletchley Park colt from the Perth Magic Millions Sale.

Bletchley Park (pictured) is a highly successful sire in Western Australia and his progeny include Modem, a winner of the prestigious Group 1 Railway Stakes.

This cracking colt is out of a Scenic mare, Scene Stealer, a winner over 1500m.
